Three Girls Compete with their Blazer Horses
Jordan Taylor has been in 4-H for 6 years and has shown Blazers at the Canyon County Fair for all 6 of those years. Her project horse had been Autumn up until this year. However, this year Whiskey was her project horse. Whiskey is a beautiful Palomino. Jordan did very well at the fair and will continue to improve.
Michaela Bocci has shown Blazers for 9 out of the 10 years in the Ada County 4-H. This was her 3rd year with her horse Prize. She won Reserve High Point for the Blazer breed. She was most proud of how well she did (3rd place) in her showmanship class because this was the class that she worked on the hardest.
Cearra Henderson has shown her Blazer horse, Black Jack, for the 2 years that she has been in 4-H in Ada County. This year she won high point for the Blazer breed. Cearra also uses Black Jack for Eagle Rodeo queening. Cearra and Black Jack bonded instantly and will likely continue to be best of friends for years to come.
While at the fair, 4Hers can compete in showmanship, trail, western equitation, western pleasure, English equitation, English pleasure, jumping, and gymkhana events.
