Taking a short Winter break from the 5000 Mile 5000 Mustang journey across the United States, Lisanne Fear, Mustang Discovery Ride team rider will be available to meet her followers and Mustang supporters in the EQUUS Film & Arts Fest West area at the 2022 Rocky Mountain Horse Expo, February 25 – 27, 2022 at the National Western Complex, 4655 Humboldt Street, Denver, Colorado.
The fest will focus on the American Mustangs, the horses of the American West and the power of horses to heal. Hosting the Mustang Heritage Foundation with Ann Souders, promising there will be something for everyone that loves everything equine in the EQUUS Film & Arts Fest West pavilion. Also highlighted at National Western Complex will be BreyerWest, a Breyer-sponsored model horse event that includes model horse shows, model horse hobby workshops, demos, and more!
EQUUS TV will be on hand with field correspondents Diana De Rosa and Jacqueline Taylor, reporting “Live” from the expo, interviewing clinicians and vendors. Those attending can email Diana De Rosa to arrange their interview time at dderosa1@optonline.net.
EQUUS Film & Arts Fest West will bring an exciting collection of equine films and documentaries to the Rocky Mountain Horse Expo in Denver. With a special screening of the new documentary from Executive Producer, Robert Redford and Director Steve Latham, “The Mustangs: America’s Wild Horses”.
EQUUS will highlight the Mustang Discovery Ride project, they will be moving westward in 2022, heading into Colorado in the summer. Connecting with the riders and Mustang lovers as they ride west through the state planning on reaching the California coast in November 2022.
Lady Long Rider, filmmaker Wren Winfield, will join us for a Q & A after her documentary screens. Another filmmaker making an appearance is Alyssa Mathews, rider and director of Riding With The Herd Iceland, to talk wither followers about her mission to ride all of the different breeds of horses in the world.
Other documentaries and films scheduled will include Cowboys: A Documentary Portrait, 10 Days, HorseKeeper, Horses Heroes, and many others.
The fest will include invited authors, Colorado based M J Evans, and Natalie DeFee Mendik, will be attending. Artist from the EQUUS Film & Arts Fest 2021, have also been invites. Partnering with the Colorado Horse Council to bring a fun new educational addition to this established horse expo.
The EQUUS Team of Diana De Rosa (Press Link) Attending as correspondent for EQUUS TV with correspondent, Jacqueline Taylor. Julianne Neal (JA Media) Film Director for the Mustang Discovery Ride project, will be available for interviews.
Bruce Anderson, Natural Humanship clinic will also be on the program with a screening of his documentary “The Edge: Bruce Anderson Natural Humanship”. “The Edge” explores the work of Bruce Anderson, native of Trinidad and Tobago, and the programs that he has created over a lifetime of work with horses and people. Anderson also explores environmental and societal issues facing the world today.
