GREENOUGH, Mont. – The ProRodeo Hall of Fame invites those seeking an inspirational, adventure-filled, true Western journey to attend an immersion into all things rodeo. At Cowboy Experience, a three-day weekend event held Oct. 20-23, 2016, at The Resort at Paws Up, 50 guests will get up close access to four authentic rodeo legends and hone their equestrian skills under the tutelage of ProRodeo Hall of Fame inductees.
The special-guest inductees include Larry Mahan, an eight-time all-around and bull riding world champion; Monty “Hawkeye” Henson, a three-time world champion saddle bronc rider; Bud Munroe, a world champion saddle bronc rider, and Paul Tierney, a tie-down roping and all-around world champion.
These honest-to-goodness cowboys will immerse you in the ways of the West with educational workshops, rodeo demonstrations, trail rides, sporting clays shooting, plenty of cowboy campfire stories under the stars and much more.
Some schedule highlights include Up and at ‘Em Trail Rides, Conversation and Connection with the Horse by Mahan, “Rerides” from Henson – a combination of stories and music – Tierney’s Rope ‘Em Cowboy session and a story telling and event demonstration session from Munroe and his wife, Jimmie, a barrel racing world champion.

The package includes luxury-home accommodations, all meals, airport transfers, a cattle drive and close-up conversation with the inductees. The event is limited to the first 50 people who register.
